Fast Balsa offensive blade with fantastic touch. Very good sound. A huge sweet-spot makes this blade easy to control. The SpinLord Ultra Balsa V is now available as new fifth version. High quality carbon replaces the wooden veneers and makes the construction very stable. The outer veneers are made from Koto in natural colour. The center ply is made of 6 mm thick balsa. The Ultra Balsa V is a fast offensive blade with good control values whereas carbon enlarges the sweet spot of the blade. SPINLORD Ultra Balsa produces a bright and loud sound, which acoustically provides feedback about ball contact point. The weight of the blade is still at about 72 g, though there are hardly any heavier pieces in this latest version. SPINLORD Ultra Balsa V is recommended in combination with soft rubbers. It would become head heavy with harder rubbers.

WHY CHOOSE A CUSTOM MADE BAT?
A custom made bat is a professional ITTF approved wooden blade fitted with ITTF approved rubbers. This is an investment as the wood blade can last a lifetime and the rubbers can be replaced. A factory pre-made, packaged or plastic bat is assembled in a factory as one piece and is designed to be thrown away once the rubbers have worn. Plastic bats are fine for outdoor ping pong but not ideal for actual table tennis as they do not have the spin and feel of a wood blade with rubbers.
