IGNITO means flame, and a blue flame has a higher temperature than a red flame. That is the reason why the theme colour of IGNITO is blue. Passionate and aggressive table tennis is the goal of IGNITO. Its construction is similar to those of its brothers – AXELO and STRATO. But, its reduced thickness of 6.5 mm makes it an ideal weapon for aggressive, close-to-table topspin play. By always aiming at the rising of ball from bounce, players can easily put a lot of pressure to opponents. Another advantage of IGNITO is its light weight. It needs less energy to swing fast. But due to the high energy efficiency of ENERGY CARBON and KISO HINOKI, more energy is transferred to ball during impact. IGNITO is also recommended for the players who are considering migration from all-wood offensive blades.

Rubber Choices
When choosing a rubber, consider the amount of control and speed that you require. Generally speaking, softer sponges offer the most control and harder sponges offer the most speed. The sponge density is shown in brackets; the higher the number, the harder the sponge. The Jekyll & Hyde V rubbers have been developed using the latest technology for controlled speed and maximum spin of the ABS ball. The default option is 47.5 V which is our recommendation for the typical player. Tensor rubbers are significantly quicker than standard rubbers, even with the softer sponges. If you prefer a lighter bat, the softer sponges also offer a lower overall bat weight.

Jekyll & Hyde has a sponge thickness of 2.1mm. We always fit the red rubber to the front of the blade and the black rubber on the back. Handle Shapes
Xiom blades offer a choice of either flared or straight handles. If this is your first blade we recommend choosing flared as this is the most comfortable for most players.
